In remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Solefood NYC, located at 38 Lispenard Street, Ny, Ny, 10013, is having a celebration on Sunday, January 17th, 2010. For this event, Solefood NYC has teamed up with Abu's Homestyle Bakery, located in Brooklyn, NYC to release a new custom flavor of ice cream, Red Velvet Cake. For $10, you are able to partake in this celebration and all of the entry fee will be donated to Haiti, through Wclef's charity. Here is the link: http://www.citywinery.com/news_items/18 . Expect great music and live art from artists Andre Trenier, Melissa Gonzalez, and Josama while you satisfy your sweet tooth's craving. This event will start at 2PM and ice cream, while it lasts will be served at 2:30PM, is available until 8PM. After 8PM, we will continue with the celebration until 2AM.
